چکیده

Hanbury Brown-Twiss (HBT) results of the neutron-proton correlation function have been systematically investigated for a series nuclear reactions with light projectiles with help of Isospin-Dependent Quantum Molecular Dynamics model. The relationship between the binding energy per nucleon of the projectiles and the strength of the neutron-proton HBT at small relative momentum has been obtained. Results show that neutron-proton HBT results are sensitive to the binding energy per nucleon. PACS numbers: 25.10.+s, 25.70.Mn, 21.45.+v, 27.20.+n

Nucleon-nucleon momentum correlation function for light nuclei

Nucleon-nucleon momentum correlation function have been presented for nuclear reactions with neutron-rich or proton-rich projectiles using a nuclear transport theory, namely Isospin-Dependent Quantum Molecular Dynamics model. The relationship between the binding energy of projectiles and the strength of proton-neutron correlation function at small relative momentum has been explored, while prot...

Correlation functions in constrained molecular dynamics ( CoMD )

The interactions between nucleons (proton-proton, neutron-neutron, proton-neutron) are not particularly well constrained, and continue to be an area of study [1-3]. One method for characterizing these interactions is through correlation functions, which can graphically and numerically show the effects from quantum, Coulomb, and other interactions between nucleons. The shape of correlation funct...

Quantum Statistical Correlations and Single Particle Distributions for Slowly Expanding Systems with Temperature Profile

Competition among particle evaporation, temperature gradient and flow is investigated in a phenomenological manner, based on a simultaneous analysis of quantum statistical correlations and momentum distributions for a non-relativistic, spherically symmetric, three-dimensionally expanding, finite source. The parameters of the model emission function are constrained by fits to neutron and proton ...

Assessment of The Relation Between Energy Of Primary Protons And Undesired Neutron Dose During Proton Therapy By Monte Carlo Method

Introduction: High-energy beams of protons offer significant advantages for the treatment of deepseated local tumors. Their physical depth-dose distribution in tissue is characterized by a small entrance dose and a distinct maximum -Bragg peak- near the end of range with a sharp fall-off at the distal edge. Alongside its advantages there are some point that they need to meticul...

Temperature and momentum dependence of single - particle properties in hot asymmetric nuclear matter

We study the effects of momentum dependent interactions on the single-particle properties of hot asymmetric nuclear matter. In particular, the single-particle potential of proton and neutron as well the symmetry potential, are studied within a self-consistent model using a momentum dependent effective interaction. In addition, the isospin splitting of the effective mass is derived from the abov...
